Service Description
Assess, baseline, and help leaders and employees see cultural differences and competencies for themselves through the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and the Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory (ICS). The IDI is a 50-item assessment tool that helps people explore cultural differences for themselves. It is developed using rigorous psychometric protocols with over 5,000 respondents from a wide range of cultures. The IDI is grounded in comprehensive cross-cultural theory of intercultural competence and is a generalizable tool with demonstrated validity and reliability. It is largely used to understanding and explore mindset using the Intercultural Development Continuum (IDC)—an established, well-respected multi-dimensional model of how we experience and engage in cultural differences. The IDC identifies the capacity and approach that individuals and groups use to navigate goals and challenges within and throughout their understanding of intercultural competencies. With consultation, the experience provides an individualized Intercultural Development Plan (IDP) to identify goals, strategies, and interventions and to help individuals increase their intercultural competence, and from a leadership perspective.
